Tyrenet Help For Heroes Campaign Drawing To A Close

by Richard on July 19th, 2010 in News

There are only 12 days to go until Tyrenet’s Help For Heroes campaign draws to a close!

Over the last 3 months 50 pence from every breakdown YOU have given to Tyrenet has gone to Help For Heroes. The response has been excellent and Tyrenet would like to thank all tyre dealers on our nationwide network for their support for the campaign.

The total raised will be calculated at the end of this month, and all funds raised will be going to support wounded British troops, brave men and women who have risked their lives for us in Iraq and Afghanistan.

However, we still have nearlly two weeks to go, and remember that every breakdown you give to Tyrenet goes towards making a difference to a brave British soldiers future. All you need to do is phone 0845 230 11 44 and let us do the rest.

Thankyou!

Tyrenet Go Live With Document Manager

by Richard on June 17th, 2010 in News

Tyrenet are now actively using Cam Portal module Document Manager.

The latest module of the new Tyrenet system allows Tyrenet to ’scrub’ jobsheets electronically in order to prepare them for invoicing, therefore streamlining the whole process, allowing us to process more invoices. The new system module opens up the invoicing process, in a more user friendly way, so that it can be split between Tyrenet staff members.

In the coming months it will also drive the updated fleet management and casing management modules, which will then phase out our current in house systems.

The new Document Manager module is also a key link in Tyrenet’s goal to have a more eco friendly, paperless office. The requirement to print job sheets and dealer paperwork is now null and void, as all ‘paperwork’ is now processed through Document Manager in .PDF format thanks to our E-Faxing service, which turns your faxed document into an email attachment.

This is a big and exciting step towards the paperless office, and is making a huge difference to the way in which Tyrenet function on a daily basis.

Cam Portal – The build up to Document Manager

by Richard on June 4th, 2010 in Dealer News, Fleet News, News

Tyrenet is in the final phase of testing the new Cam Portal module, Document Manager.

Because Tyrenet has a complex two way billing system, it is critical that invoices are scrubbed and coded. This process ensures that the customer is billed the correct amount, and the dealer is paid the correct amount for any work done.

Up until now Tyrenet has scrubbed and coded as necessary on paper, and this process has been tried and tested to the point where we have it down to a fine art. However, there is one thing that it can’t do. It can’t be speeded up any more, and this is one of the key elements to Document Manager in Cam Portal.

Within Document Manager, when we receive paperwork back via our e-fax service, we then import that document in Cam Portal. The document is then linked with a Call Log, which has been generated at the point the customer rang the job in.

The document is then scrubbed in document manager, which is basically an electronic worksheet. All the information on the tyre fitted and the tyre removed, along with call outs and signatures can be added to the worksheet in order to generate invoice lines, which are then sent into our invoicing system for approval. In the future this will also be the driving force behind our casing management system, and will update our fleet management system accordingly, once our current systems are replaced.

The aim of Document Manager is to speed up the cleansing and invoicing process in order to improve efficiency and streamline the money in – money out process. Once Tyrenet have completed testing of the new module we will look to implement this system module in the very near future.
