Venezuela causes potential headache for Goodyear
Recession has hit industry hard across the UK and beyond. And here at Tyrenet we have seen the effects first hand for our customers, and that’s why we keep up to date on the latest news and industry developments.

One thing that caught my eye recently might be of interest to all you Goodyear users out there. Venezuela’s president Chavez has decided to create a 2 tier import structure after devaluing Venezuela’s currency the Bolivar. The structure will be based on essential and non essential imports, and our friends at Goodyear just happen to be doing a good chunk of their business out there.
Goodyear have yet to assess the full impacts of the change as it has imports in both categories, but could it spell higher prices for Goodyear users across the globe? You can be sure that Tyrenet will be closely monitoring the situation in order to give its customers the best advice possible in these difficult times.
